COMMENTS

Slaughter classes 2 to 3 higher. Calves and feeder cattle overall 3 to 5 higher. Market much better than last week, (a weather market), and demand much stronger and widespread. Replacement cows and pairs very active. Fed cattle coming out of the western feedlots sharply higher last week with direct sales at 127.00 to 129.00.

Next Monday 3/11/13

Herd of 30 good young cows, mostly black, 20-25 with calves at side and 1 young Angus bull.  Also a herd of 75 mostly crossbred cows and several calves, and another herd of 50 mostly black cows, most with calves, and 1 good young horned Hereford bull.
